Our region is seeing an increased number of cases of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), and Arlington County Government is taking steps to help mitigate and contain the spread of COVID-19.
The County has created a set of guidelines to help determine which of its events and gatherings are essential, and which can be postponed or conducted with modifications. (Note: As the situation with coronavirus shifts, these guidelines may also change.) We strongly encourage businesses and organizations across our community to use these guidelines. These guidelines are also available in Spanish.
While events and public gatherings are hallmarks of our community, they also are opportunities for a virus to spread quickly among event workers and participants. Moving forward, many events or meetings will be cancelled, postponed, or modified to better protect our residents and County staff.
